Chat Manager ("we", "us", "our") provides a web-based tool to help you manage your WhatsApp groups. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and service, and how we handle it.

- Account information โ name, email address, and password when you register.
- WhatsApp session data โ credentials required to link your WhatsApp account via QR pairing, stored locally on your device or server during use.
- Group and message data โ group names, participant identifiers, and message content necessary to provide group monitoring and direct messaging features.
- Usage data โ pages visited, features used, and basic technical logs (browser type, IP address, timestamps) to keep the service running securely.
- Payment information โ if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve Chat Manager
- Authenticate your account and manage subscriptions
- Display your WhatsApp groups and messages within the dashboard
- Send service-related emails (account verification, billing, security alerts)
- Detect abuse, fraud, and technical issues
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. WhatsApp and third-party services
Chat Manager connects to WhatsApp using unofficial APIs. Your use of WhatsApp remains subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy. We are not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta. Message data flows through WhatsApp's infrastructure; we only access what is needed to provide our features.
5. Data storage and security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls. Session data may be stored in a local database on the server running your instance. No system is 100% secure โ please use a strong password and keep your account credentials private.
6. Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. WhatsApp session data is kept until you log out or delete your account. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
